 On July 24th, Members of the Spiritist Society of North Beach and Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet presented the proceeds from the Walkathon, held on June 9th, to benefit Calvert Country School. The two organizations raised close to $3,000.00. The check was presented to Christina Harris, Special Education Supervisor by Margot Kennedy Ross, Treasurer. Other board members from left to right Nancy Mroczek, Vice President, and Abigail Francisco, President. The Spiritist Society of North Beach is a non-profit organization based in North Beach, whose focus is to disseminate the Spiritist’s philosophy of love and charity. The event was a sucess. Family and friends walked 5K to raise funds for thel kids in a beautiful sunny day while enjoying North Beach waterfront. Calvert County School is located at 1350 Dares Beach Rd, Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678 in Calvert County Maryland and is a public school for mentally and or physically challenged children in grades K-12.
